2008 County Commissioners Tour

Join your local Soil & Water Conservation District representative on an educational tour of successful conservation programs in Hocking County .  This tour will help you gain insight on the valuable partnership between the County Commissioners and their county SWCD office.  The tour will consist of 3-4 stops to see conservation on the land first hand – and the importance conservation provides to the local economy, education, and the environment.  Lunch will be provided, with presentations also offered on successful SWCD programs and partnerships following lunch.

Meet Ohio Department of Natural Resources Staff, SWCD representatives, fellow county commissioners and other invaluable partners on June 18, 2008. Please RSVP by June 9th.

Meet by 9:30am @ Chieftain Elementary School Parking Lot

                        Located at the corner of U.S. Route 33 & State Route 180

Chieftain Drive, Logan , Ohio  

 Buses will depart at 10:00am and return at 3pm
